Salinas Grandes, Argentina
We both drove from Purmamarca on a dirt road to Salinas Grandes, along the way, we saw wild horses running the wild, donkeys and llama greeting us when we took a pit stop.
The salt flat may not be as famous as the one in Bolivia, however, it is still the best to us. Never mind how stunningly awesome it is to see miles of white salt and blue skies…..we were in it purely for the photo ops.
The Salinas Grandes is a large salt flat in central-northern Argentina, spanning the borders of four provinces, at an average altitude of 170 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Sierras de Córdoba mountain range.
